DESCRIPTION
The LVC series vacuum centrifugal concentrator is designed to rapidly and safely evaporate water and organic solvents from samples. The processed samples are readily suitable for a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analyses—including chemistry, biochemistry, bioanalysis, immunological screening, food safety, and residue analysis. This instrument is applicable to the concentration of immunoglobulins and drug metabolites, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), pre- and post-processing for Liquid Chromatography, ADMET/toxicology studies, polymer chemistry, DNA/RNA purification and concentration, oligonucleotide synthesis, forensic science/substance abuse testing, and general laboratory concentration tasks.
FEATURES
1. Features the all-new XIUI 3.0 operating system, utilizing microcomputer control and programmable operation. It employs a direct-drive DC brushless inverter motor for precise speed control.
2. Equipped with a 7-inch wide-viewing-angle LCD touch screen with digital input capabilities for simple operation. The interface displays set and real-time running parameters—including chamber pressure (in mBar)—in real time. The all-steel casing features a corrosion-resistant, "orange-peel" textured finish. Its fluid lines and overall ergonomic industrial design prioritize both aesthetic appeal and a sense of security, ensuring high visual recognition and user-friendliness.
3. One-Touch Preheating: Utilizes precise temperature control technology for rapid heating and high accuracy. It can raise the chamber temperature to 60°C, quickly reaching the set point and maintaining a constant temperature.
4. Vacuum Level Setting: Vacuum pumping initiates once the rotor speed reaches the set value. During operation, the vacuum level is maintained within a precise tolerance range, thereby enhancing sublimation efficiency. This ensures a safe and highly efficient concentration process that is pollution-free, foam-free, and causes no damage to the samples.
5. Automatic Vacuum Release: Upon the completion of a run, or in the event of a power failure or shutdown, the instrument automatically releases the vacuum and vents the chamber to the external environment. This release is performed gradually to protect samples from the adverse effects of sudden positive or negative pressure fluctuations; once the vacuum is fully released, the instrument automatically opens the lid.
6. Built-in Vapor Pressure Curve Database for Organic Solvents: This feature provides detailed vapor pressure data for various organic solvents at different temperatures, helping users understand the evaporation characteristics of their solvents. This serves to prevent operational errors or safety incidents that might otherwise arise from a lack of understanding regarding solvent properties.
7. Seamless, One-Piece 304 Stainless Steel Centrifuge Chamber: Treated with a corrosion-resistant Teflon coating, the chamber remains impervious to sample solvents while simultaneously ensuring the purity and integrity of the samples.
8. Multiple Rotor Options: A variety of rotors are available to accommodate diverse experimental throughput requirements, enabling the pre-processing and centrifugal concentration of various sample types, including nucleic acids and viruses.
9. Modular Design: Features independent components that can be freely combined and configured to ensure flexible application and usage.
10. One-Touch Linkage Function: Streamlines operational workflows, making the instrument even simpler and more convenient to use.
11. PMMA (Acrylic) Lid: The transparent lid offers clear visibility for easy observation of the process. Furthermore, the automated lid-opening and closing mechanism not only enhances operational convenience but also prevents potential errors or accidents associated with manual lid handling. In the event of a power outage, an external battery backup can be connected to automatically open the lid.
12. Features a built-in operational guide and incorporates warning modules for conditions such as over-temperature, low pressure, and emergency stops; designed to enhance user efficiency, minimize the risk of operational errors, and satisfy users' stringent requirements regarding the reliability of the instrument's concentration performance.
